its always inspiring to hear stories of people, like Abinidi, who taught others about the gospel and died because of what they believed. It's a huge testimony strengthener. I liked in chapter 18 where Alma teaches the people in SECRET and by the end of the chapter, the church has 450 members who were all baptized. All done because of one persons strength.
The story of Abinadi is my favorite book of mormon story ever! I am so amazed at his faithfulness to the gospel. He died for it. It was his life. He died thinking he didn't have an influence, but he affected Alma, who converted many people. As I've continued to read from that point on, I'm amazed at how much Abinadi accomplished just from being faithful and converting one person. AMAZING!!
P.S. does anyone know where we should be in the readings now? i've just tried to read about ten pages a day to be around where we should be, but i want to make sure i'm on track
sorry Holly!! we ARE going to be better at keeping up on this from now on. We averaged it out to be about 8-9 pages per day so you should be right on track :)
